CONERSTONE AUTOMOTIVE

These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Cornerstone Automotive to the customer "Client". By authorizing repairs or services, the Client agrees to the following:

1. Estimates & Authorizations

• All repair estimates are provided in good faith based on available information. Final costs may vary due to additional parts, parts quoted no longer available or additional labor required.

• No repairs will be performed without the Client’s authorization (verbal, written, or electronic).

• Estimates/quotes are valid for 48 hrs. Prices are varied to change depending on availability on parts required. ​

2. Parts & Materials

• The Shop may use new, remanufactured, or used parts depending on availability and Client approval.

• Parts supplied by the Client are not covered under the Shop’s warranty, and additional labor fees may apply.

• Parts are sourced through several third party vendors. We can not control when or how these parts arrive. However, both Cornerstone Automotive and our vendors offer reassurance that each item is in excellent condition and/or under warranty.

3. Labor & Service Warranty

• Labor performed by Cornerstone Automotive is warranted based on the labor/service provided, unless otherwise specified.

• Parts are subject to manufacturer or supplier warranties.
  Parts provided by customer are NOT warranted under Cornerstone or any of our vendors/suppliers.

• Warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, or subsequent unrelated failures.

• Cornerstone mechanics are trained to identify and address problems with accuracy and professionalism.  Therefore, we are not liable for repairs made or modify by other mechanics/technicians, including mobile, home, or driveway mechanics.  Rest assured, we have the knowledge and experience to recognize the difference.

4. Payments

• Payment is due upon completion of services unless prior arrangements are made with Cornerstone Automotive.

• Accepted payment methods: Cash, Credit & Debit. All major cards are accepted.  Other forms of payment: Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, & Google Pay is accepted thru phone tap only.

• Vehicles will not be released until full payment is received unless prior arrangement are made with Cornerstone Automotive.

5. Storage & Abandoned Vehicles

• Serviced vehicles must be picked up within 48 hours notification of completion.

• A storage fee of [$25/day] may apply for vehicles kept on the property after notification of services provided/completion.

• Vehicles left beyond 30 days may be considered abandoned and subject to lien or sale as permitted by Georgia Law.

  • A vehicle can be considered abandoned if it's left unattended on private property for a minimum of 30 days or on public property for at least five days, with the owner not claiming it within 30 days.  https://dor.georgia.gov/

6. Liability

• Cornerstone is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or articles left inside due to fire, theft, accident, or other causes beyond our control.

• The Client is responsible for maintaining proper insurance coverage for their vehicle at all times.

• Cornerstone is not responsible for vehicles left after hours or over night.  However, Cornerstone does have cameras in place for extra protection.

• Cornerstone is not responsible for any keys/fobs left in or outside of the vehicle by customer or requested by customer. 

7. Test Drives & Mileage

• The Client authorizes Cornerstone Automotive to operate the vehicle for testing, diagnosis, and verification of repairs.

8. Towing & Roadside Assistance

• If towing is required, it is done through third-party providers. Cornerstone Automotive is not liable for damages during towing. 

• ​If Cornerstone submits payment on the Clients behalf for their towing services, the amount will be added to your total and due upon payment of services provided to the Clients vehicle.

9. Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes must first be addressed in writing to Cornerstone Automotive either thru email, postal mail and/ or fax.
