How long have you been in service?
Nilton Dias is the owner/mechanic of Cornerstone Automotive. His passion for auto repair started in his teenage years working as a volunteer after school. Later he work as an electrician which contributed in forming the skills needed for todays' complex automotive industry. Nilton attended Gwinnett Tech Institute where I completed multiple cores in electronics. In 1993 he opened John Auto Service which later was incorporated and became Cornerstone Automotive in 1997. Combined with his great team of mechanic there is over 40 years of experience and excellence.
Do you provide Per-Purchase Inspection( PPI)?
Yes, we offer PPI. A Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) is a third-party evaluation of a used vehicle's mechanical, aesthetic, and safety condition by a qualified mechanic to identify existing or potential problems before a sale. A PPI can save you from costly repairs, provide leverage for price negotiation, or allow you to walk away from a bad deal, offering valuable peace of mind for a significant purchase.
Do I need an appointment?
No, although appointments are appreciated, we work on a first come first serve bases and welcome walk-ins equally.
May I bring my own parts?
Yes, you are more then welcome to provided your own parts for your vehicle. However, Cornerstone is not responsible for the quality, compatibility, or performance of those parts. No warranty, guarantee, or liability will be provided for customer-supplied parts, and any failure of such parts will not be covered under our service warranty. Additional labor charges may apply if parts are defective, incorrect, or cause additional work.
May I drop my vehicle off over night?
Yes, you are welcome to drop off your vehicle overnight and drop the keys in our door slot. We ask you put I note in the vehicle providing your name, contact information, and vehicle concern.
Where do your parts come from?
Cornerstone works with serval respectable vendors, dealerships and junkyards. Depending on your vehicle needs, we provided the best quality parts including but not limited too OEM parts, certified used parts and vehicle manufacture parts.
